THERAPY IN ENGLISH – MY APPROACH

I´m happy to meet with you who come from other countries for therapy – the spoken language is English. I have worked in the field of psychotherapy for over twenty years. In my practice I see the utmost importance of creating a safe environment which facilitates a meeting on a deeper level where you can have the opportunity to discover and see yourself. It is an empathetic meeting where you can search through your non-functional patterns and get help to put words on your painful experiences. A trustworthy climate where we together create the necessary ”tools”, providing insight and knowledge to change what isn’t working in life.

I offer support, help and therapy for everything in your life that makes you question how you really feel: the most important relation is the one we have to ourselves. If our self-esteem breaks, it will affect all relations, especially to those that come emotionally close. Our feelings are ”time-travellers”: they don´t change over the years – not until we adress, express, live through and put words on them.

It takes courage to meet the sides of us that we can´t or won´t accept and this can generate resistance toward the change that will take place in the therapy-process – ”I know what I have, but not what I will get”. Hence, it´s even more important that the person with whom you seek support is experienced, knowledgeable and, above all, is an empathetic fellow(wo)man.

We usually meet once a week and my therapy sessions run for 60 minutes. It is also possible to agree otherwise – for some 90 minutes work better.
